A dad in New Jersey continues to struggle in a bitter custody battle, that finds his son staying all the way down in Brazil 5 years after the case started.

The father, David Goldman, was hoping to finally bring his son backk home in time for Christmas, but his lawyers were unable to get things done in time in Brazil's family court. The judge ruled the boy must stay for now. Child custody cases are often fraught with emotion and controversy, and many times considered slanted against the father.
