Are Angelina Jolie and her dad Jon Voight finally ending their feud and reconnecting with each other? Looks like the answer is yes! That is the report coming from the tabloid world, after Voight visited Jolie's family home in Venice this past weekend.

Vogiht was first seen with his long-estranged family after they went on a water taxi ride with Jolie, her husband Brad Pitt and some of their children, in Venice where Jolie and PItt have a family home.

Voight and his equally famous daughter have long been estranged, with their dischord sometimes reflected in media statements. Jolie is a well known progressive activist while Voight is a very outspoken right-winger, though who knows if this is the cause of their estrangement. Here's hoping they continue to mend those fences, and connect the grandfather with his grandkids! And make a ton of money for charity from the photos of that occasion.

Angelina Jolie has reportedly reunited with her father Jon Voight. The Oscar-winning beauty - who raises six children with her partner Brad Pitt - was photographed with her kids and her dad in Venice on Sunday sparking rumours they have reconciled after being estranged for years. Brad, 46, is believed to have encouraged 34-year-old Angelina - who has recently been living in Venice, Italy, while she prepares to shoot The Tourist opposite Johnny Depp - to "smooth things over" with Jon, 71. A source said: "Since Brad and Angelina have been together, he has been encouraging her to smooth things over with her dad. And when it comes to the kids, Brad wants them to know their grandfather the way the kids know his parents."
