When the top plus size model Crystal Renn appeared in the latest Karl Lagerfeld Chanel show, many people began asking why the model looked as if she'd lost some of her signature curves. you can click the link below to judge for yourself, but according to her reps there is nothing unusual going on with her weight or diet.

Her people say: "She is not trying to lose weight at all, she fluctuates between a 10 and a 14....She went hiking in Patagonia for three weeks over the holidays and she firmed up and got a little smaller. She has also been traveling like crazy and tends to be smaller when that happens."

Crystal Renn has won admiration for her honest discussion of her own struggles with anorexia, and how the fashion and modeling industry is unhealthy in many ways, including eating disorders but touching on other issues as well for the young women who get into that world.

Not so, says Renn's agent. At the moment, she seems to be on the lower end of that range, in part, her agent says, because she's been so active recently... said Leona Palmer "The common response when I state my job is, "But you're not plus! What size are you?" Maybe a better question is: what size are we supposed to be? What do we expect a "plus" model to look like?"
