Rachel Corrie vs. Israel (NEWS)

The family of Rachel Corrie, who was killed by a bulldozer in Israel while peacefully protesting the destruction of Palestinian homes, is now suing the state of Israel and holding them responsible for their daughter's tragic death.

The Israel Defence Ministry is the target of the lawsuit, in which the family is bringing numerous witnesses to bear on this case, who will testify that Rachel Corrie was killed without reason or any just cause by a Caterpillar bulldozer.

According to supporters of Corrie the driver of the bulldozer, and the other Israeli military people on the scene, were fully aware she was sitting in the path of the bulldozer as a passive resistance protest against the demolition of Palestinian homes, and they decided to literally drive right through her. An unthinkable crime if it is true, regardless of how you feel about Corrie's politics and the situation in Israel overall.

Hopefully the full story will come out here, and justice will be served, though that lost life can never be restored.
